About MyKinkFile
Privacy-first kink discovery for curious adults
Our Mission
MyKinkFile exists because self-knowledge is powerful — and that knowledge should belong entirely to you. We built a platform where you can explore your desires, boundaries, and identity without judgement, without surveillance, and without your data being a product sold to advertisers.
Our mission is simple: help adults understand themselves more deeply, and optionally share that understanding with people they trust.
How It Works
Take the Discovery Quiz
Answer 50 carefully crafted questions spanning power dynamics, sensation play, restraint, roleplay, and more. The quiz adapts to your experience level and takes around five minutes to complete.
Discover Your Archetype
Our scoring engine maps your answers to a nuanced kink archetype — a rich profile that captures your dominant dynamics, preferences, and comfort zones with precision and respect.
Build Your Profile
Create an account to save your kinks, fantasies, and limits. Your profile is entirely private by default — share it only when and with whom you choose.
Export & Share
Generate a beautiful profile card that you can share privately with a partner, or keep entirely for yourself. Designed to start conversations, not raise questions.
Our Privacy Commitment
Privacy is not a feature at MyKinkFile — it is the foundation. We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not sell data. We do not use third-party analytics. We do not serve ads.
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text
- All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS
- No tracking pixels, no analytics SDKs, no ad networks
- You can delete your account and all data at any time
- Guest quiz results are never stored server-side
Read our full Privacy Policy for complete details.
Open Source & Community
MyKinkFile is built in the open. Our codebase is available for review so that our privacy claims can be verified, not just trusted. We believe accountability requires transparency.
We welcome feedback, bug reports, and contributions from the community. If you have ideas for improving the platform — particularly around privacy, accessibility, or inclusivity — we want to hear from you.
